Dr Sally Richardson

Dr Sally Richardson graduated from Oxford University in 2011 where she studied with academic, music and choral scholarships. She completed the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians as well as the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She has a strong background in General Medicine and Emergency Medicine gained while working in top hospitals in London, handling emergency response calls for central London and as a GP in a busy practice in Islington. While living and working in the British Virgin Islands for 2 years she acted as Medical Director for the Virgin Islands Search and Rescue and was the sole Doctor to Necker and Mosquito private Islands, as well as covering the A&E at the Government Hospital and working as a GP.


She specialises in all areas of general medicine with a particular interest in heart health including high blood pressure and heart disease, chest medicine including asthma and COPD, endocrinology including diabetes and gut health including IBS and IBD. She also has diplomas in obstetrics and gynaecology and sexual and reproductive medicine.


She moved to Guernsey from London in 2020 with her husband, a lawyer, who was born on Island and had a son, Beau, that summer. She loves fashion, fresh air and a cup of tea with friends and family.
