Allergy Clinic
The first step to helping you with allergies is to properly identify the trigger. In the Allergy Clinic we have the expertise to undertake a thorough assessment of your symptoms and offer targeted testing to help identify the cause.
We can then advise on how to manage the allergy in a way that works for you. This may involve avoiding the trigger when possible, or, if avoidance isn’t feasible, advising on treatments. We can also advise on anaphylaxis and make sure you are safely prepared to handle that situation.
The clinic is open to everyone of all ages, regardless of where you are registered. To book an appointment at the Allergy Clinic please call 237757.

An allergy is when the body’s immune system over-reacts to something that is harmless to most people. The substance is known as an allergen.
Specific-IgE testing can help to assess if you may be allergic to something. Various types are available: we use one called ALEX-2.
