Dr Harriet Protheroe

Dr Harriet Protheroe graduated from Birmingham Medical School in 2016 with honours and an intercalated Biomedical Science degree in immunology. She moved to North Yorkshire in 2018 to complete training as a General Practitioner, qualifying in 2021. Since then she has worked in a rural practice closely allied to the large military base Catterick Garrison.
Dr Protheroe has developed a special interest in womens' health and menopause and is working towards a diploma in Menopause Care. She took the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Diploma in 2019 and has been a qualified coil fitter since 2022. Other interests include cardiology, endocrinology and diabetes.
Dr Protheroe is new to Guernsey, moving out with her husband Guy who is an auctioneer and antiques specialist and their dog, Zeus the lurcher. She is a keen runner and also loves painting, life drawing and trying out new restaurants.
