Dr Edward Partridge

MB ChB MRCS MRCGP MCEM MSc Practical Dermatology. Expert Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine – Bond University Australia. GPwER in skin lesions and skin surgery.

Ed qualified in 1996. He began his career in surgery and emergency medicine, moving into family practice in 2003.


He enjoys all aspects of medicine with additional experience in child health, men’s health and emergency medicine.


Ed’s specialist interests are skin surgery and the diagnosis of skin lesions using dermoscopy. Dermoscopy uses a specialist skin microscope, called a dermatoscope, to undertake a very detailed skin assessment.


Ed holds a Masters-Degree in Practical Dermatology with distinction. His dissertation focused on the diagnosis and treatment of sun-damaged skin and skin cancers. Bond University, Australia, has awarded him the Expert Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine. He is accreditated by the RCGP and the British Association of Dermatologists in skin lesion management. He is a member of the Guernsey Multidisciplinary Skin Cancer Team.


Dr Partridge runs a Mole and Skin Lesion Clinic every Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at our new clinic at St Martins Surgery. He is happy to undertake a full skin/mole check or assess any skin lesions concerning patients at this clinic.


Ed is married to Louisa and has a daughter, Amy. He thoroughly enjoys Island life and is a keen long-distance runner. He completed the Marathon des Sables in 2016 and is always happy to chat about ultra-distance events such as this
