Victoria Park: Health and Wellbeing Partnership

We’re proud to announce that Healthcare Group has been named a Health and Wellbeing Partner of Victoria Park, the new community sports hub and home of Guernsey football.

The partnership brings together our shared goals of championing healthier living and supporting community connections, and we’ll be working closely with the team at Victoria Park to deliver a range of initiatives that promote wellbeing and encourage islanders to stay active.

We’ve already kicked the partnership off with the launch of a summer sun safety campaign alongside Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG) and Public Health, and we have more events planned throughout the summer to keep awareness front of mind.

Our aim for the partnership is to bring trusted medical guidance into the heart of the community, making it easier for islanders to take positive steps for their health.

Commenting on the announcement, Dr Ed Partridge said:

“Victoria Park is an absolutely fantastic facility, and we’re thrilled to be working with the team behind it. The stadium is a true community hub, designed to bring people together, making it the perfect place to focus on health promotion. 

“Health and sport go hand in hand, and we’ll be using the space to host talks, events and awareness campaigns throughout the year. We’re excited to be part of this next chapter for Guernsey football.”
