Dr James Brooks

MBBS MRCGP BSc

James qualified from Peninsula Medical School (University of Exeter) in 2008, he then worked in various medical rotations around the Bristol and Bath area. He completed his GP training in Frome, Somerset in 2013, becoming partner at a central Bath surgery in 2015, where he worked until relocating to Guernsey in 2024.

James is married to Tamara and they have two children Max and Florence, both of whom are enjoying living by the sea and taking part in the many outdoor activities on the island. He has interests in most areas of medicine and enjoys the variety that general practice delivers. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, music, fitness and anything with an engine.
