Sports and Exercise Medicine and Musculoskeletal specialist

Dr Salem is a fellow of the faculty of sports and exercise medicine. He is the Healthcare Group’s specialist musculoskeletal doctor and the medical lead for Joint Care.

He has extensive experience in managing all aspects of sports-related injuries and joint, muscle and tendon problems. Alongside his work with Healthcare Group, he is a club doctor at the Premier League’s Everton Football Club. He also provides a clinical assessment service in London for patients with complex musculoskeletal problems. 

With support from an experienced team of physiotherapists and osteopaths, Dr Salem can structure a rehabilitation programme, getting you back to doing what you enjoy. He is skilled in using ultrasound for diagnostic purposes and therapeutic injections, offering a full complement of treatment options, including PRP.

Dr Salem is passionate about sports. He played professional football at a championship level in Egypt. He therefore understands the demands and needs of sports people of all abilities up to an elite level.
